For this book David Senior, Bibliographer at The Museum of Modern Art Library, New York, has selected a wide range of exhibition-related ephemera, including invitation cards, flyers and posters from the 1960s to the present in the MoMA Library collection. Historically overlooked, exhibition ephemera is integral to the exhibition itself and often the first point of contact between the audience and the artist. Among the many artists represented in Please Come to the Show are Daniel Buren, Lynn Foulkes, Gilbert & George, Niki de Saint Phalle and Andy Warhol.
